Tokyo fish market.

A trip to the Tsukiji fish markets presented an opportunity to ogle the weird and wonderful of the deep. We didn't bother with the ridiculously early morning call for the auctions and rocked along at about half ten when it was all winding down.  But the crazy clams and off cuts of Octopus still were a sight to behold.  By far the scariest thing there where the workers buzzing around little motorised tractor carts, weaving in and out of the tiny aisles amongst all of the water, blood and entrails.  One astounding observation was that even though is was a humid steamy summers day the odour was almost negligible.  Guess it was just so so fresh.
