Greenwich/West Village nightlife.

Christopher Park @ Sheridan Square and Christopher Street.
Gay liberation sculpture by George Segal.

The Monster is an institution in the West Village and Mr. Brown was excited to be here for a tipple again, 19 years on from his last visit to New York City.  And apparently it really hadn't changed much.
With a piano in the corner pouring out show tunes and old favourite singsongs , we had a hoot.
Below with Mr. Brown it the wonderful 80 year old Michael Algra from Astoria, Queens NYC.
A puppeteer, he proudly told us that it was his work in "The Sound of Music" with the goats and goatherder.  He likes to pop down to The Monster every Friday evening and grab a few cocktail and sing a tune or two. He was also had a Marilyn Monroe story or two to tell and drew us a little portrait on a napkin.  What a great inspiration he was.

We moved on for a look at Stonewall, which was a little disappointing and dull and the took a turn for the sleazier side of the village and saw some dancing and drag @ Boots & Saddle, 76 Christopher Street.

Strip for cash go-go.

Kooky/spooky drag goes wild thanks to Sharon Needles win on RPDR.
All getting very Halloween.

Making new friends on the subway.  Some randoms.

Of course we trust you with our camera.
