For our last evening in Kyoto we ventured down Pontocho Alley once again to try our luck. For want of a real or better name we'll call this evenings venue "The Golden Apple", cos thats kind of what we deduced from the signage. Another triumphant feast of Gyoza, steamed and fried, more brilliant eggplant from the wok and a tasty tofu dish with a minced pork sauce.
Oh how we will miss you Pontocho.
