Robot insanity.

In a lapse of touristic insanity we decided to attend a show in the Shinjuku red-light district, the much hyped Robot Restaurant.  Well it was definitely an experience.  The most absurdly decked out venue where basically every surface was embellished with flashing lights, mirror tiles and every other bit of gaudy bling imaginable.  Firstly treated to a half hour show of soft rock played by a silver clad robo hero band in a cabaret room that was beyond gauche, we were then herded into a basement arena to witness a spectacle that was beyond belief.  We are still not quite sure of what we think about it.

Only in Tokyo.
We've seen the future and it seems to involve a lot of hot glue gun.
