After our visit to the Musee d'Orsay this morning, we luckily stumbled across the original Annick Goutal perfumery @ 16 rue de Bellechasse. This fulfilled one of our missions in Paris, to purchase a bottle of her mens fragrance, Vetiver. This has not been sighted in Melbourne since the Figgins Diorama days in the mid 80's last century.
Fittingly, the window display was touting the new fragrance, Mimosa, a distillation from our own native flower, the Wattle. We were graciously attended to by the wonderful Natalia, seen below dousing me in clouds of Vetiver, while kindly adding a few marvellous samples to our goodie bag.
