A fifteen minute Tuk-Tuk ride from downtown Siem Reap found us at Theam's House, home and atelier of Cambodian artist Lim Muy Theam. A wonderful compound which reminded us of our visit to the Jim Thompson House in Bangkok. On display are Theam's private collection of Cambodian art & artefacts as well as a gallery of his own original works and an outlet of the range of goods that he designs and has manufactured in Siem Reap.
Well worth a visit if you find yourself on the hunt for interesting local nic-naks of the less touristic variety, or are in need of an original Cambodian artwork. Or just enjoy the tasteful environs.
