Textile hunting in Siem Reap.

As avid fans of beautiful textiles this is always a priority on any of our tours.  From the markets to the local mills and cottage industries, we're always on the hunt for that fabulous bit of fabric or interestingly crafted item.  The Cambodians do amazingly intricate Ikat fabrics where the silk or cotton warp threads are bound then dyed in a series of colours before being woven as seem here at the IKTT workhouse.

These eye catching diamond tie dyed silks are a bit of a standout for a modern look.
