Around Siem Reap & at the museum.

Wandering the streets of Siem Reap is a visual delight at almost every turn.  It has a great buzz but is not too overwhelming, the pace of life is good.

The Angkor National Museum is well worthy of a visit as it has a fine collection of beautiful stone carvings that are carefully preserved away from the tourist wear and tear that is effecting much of the temple sites.  It provides a great timeline and history of the culture.

After returning a day early from Battambang we took a night at the Rambutan Hotel as our beloved Viroth Hotel was full and could not fit us in for the night.  At a very reasonable rate and a great location this is another highly recommended establishment.
