A little more of our adventures in Battambang, Cambodia. A little off the tourist trail, hosts an impressive array of colonial buildings in states of disrepair and disguised behind sad hoardings of modern advertising, but the prevalent expectation is that this could be just to spring into rejuvenation with a heritage listing rattling the sabre of regeneration and restoration. We hope so indeed. A crossing of the Sangkae River by ferry, of course we paid way over the going rate, was enchanting, its sleepy provincial town feel was a contrast to the slicker ways of Siem Reap.
