We arrive Manila from Cambodia just in time to catch the last day of the premier Philippines art event, Art Fair Philippines 2016. Set within 2 floors of a carpark, purposely converted for the show, in the Makati shopping district, there were forty odd galleries showing contemporary Filipino art and a handful of regional Asia galleries represented as well. It was Sunday afternoon and it seemed that half of Manila had turned out for the closing day.
In a hectic hour and a half we managed to cover both floors and came away impressed with the works on hand.
