White Night Wonders.

We joined the thronging masses for Melbourne's incarnation of the international franchise, White Night (Nuit Blanche).  In its sophomore season in our city, it certainly drew a crowd.  We only manage a brief and early visit, starting on the south side of the river at the tattooed NGV facade and then marvelling at Alexandra Garden's offerings, notably Julio Le Parc's "Lumieres en vibration" & Craig Walsh's "Monuments".

Across the Bridge in

Once we crossed Princes Bridge into the wonderland of lights dazzled along Flinders street we encountered many of the half million happy gawkers shuffling along Swanston street.  It was about then that we resolved to next year go much later for longer.

Busy but still a brilliant blinding White Night.
