On our great Sydney getaway we were fortunate enough to slip in a long Friday lunch at the iconic Cafe Sydney. Perched on top of historic Customs house, in a custom built pavilion, with views over Circular Quay to The Bridge, The Habour & The Opera House, it is one of those great Sydney experiences. We were accompanied for lunch by the wonderful Chris Wilson, who also appears in the golden jubilee celebrations for Mr Brown earlier this year in Tokyo and the delightful Greg Paton who's Microville project makes for a marvellous world in miniature. With an unusually hot day in Sydney, we sweltered and supped in style, but secure in the knowledge that we were in the place to be as it was divulged to us that British Prime Minister, David Cameron had snuck in the the night before, incognito, to enjoy the view and fare before hitting the G20 in Brisvegas.
Lunch with a view.
Bottoms up as the Ghost hits the half tonne.
The amazing Mr Microville.
Mr Brown in the pink of it, keeping his cool.
Our fine food friend, Mr Wilson testing the bubbles.
Super sweet Sydney style.
If only we could lunch more often on a Friday. But this would be difficult to beat.
Take the chance and treat yourselves to this guilty decadent, indulgence at
