A ferry ride for a Manly feast.

When in Sydney a ferry ride is one of those mandatory touristy things to do.  So we jumped a ride from Circular Quay to Manly, with a meal in mind.  We wanted to try out
Papi Chulo, one of the latest offerings from the mammoth Merivale family of hospitality houses.  Located right on Manly wharf, with an American smokehouse/grill flavour and a brand spanking aged, new fit out, it was certainly the place to be for a Saturday lunch. As we arrived mid afternoon we caught the raucous tailend of several birthday and such group celebration, which made for a very busy din.  So if you like a boisterous buzz to munch to, this could be the place for you.  Once the joint cleared out a bit we could relax and admire the view.

After a brisk stroll along Manly beach to work off our burgers, slaw and curly fries it was a return cruise to Circular Quay in the evening light.

To chow down at Papi Chulo head to
