With still only a few stumps in the ground and no chance of a rebirthed Stoke House (after their fire two years ago) we decided to host a crew of our nearest and dearest carry on clowns right here in the grounds of Nic-Nak Castle.
A bit of bunting and a few cheerful Chinese lanterns later, we tarted the place up to give it that fiesta feel.

And making her NYD debut with her glamorous mother, Daniella, is the beautiful baby Bowie Balscheit.
We managed to dodge the 40 degree heat of new Years Eve and it was a delightful 27 odd degrees and even with no electricity for about four hours we saw the start if the year off in Stokish, Showoff style. For previous NYD adventures please see the links below.
