Gavin Brown's exhibition "The Printed Painting" hit the gallery walls today with a busy round of measuring, hammering and curating from early this morning. Its now all up and ready for public viewing from 11am tomorrow, Tuesday 2nd June. Along with the Lino Cut printed pieces, there is also a selection of the vibrant "Bushland" oil paintings on show.
And we were not alone. Chris Orr was installing his debut exhibition "Bone Idol" in the adjacent gallery, filling it with his brooding brand of skullduggery.
So its hammers down and nails and numbers away. It's all done.
Come along and join us for a tipple and a little art chat as we celebrate with a fine opening shindig between 2-4pm on this Saturday June 6th at Fortyfivedownstairs Gallery.
