We took a spin up to the Observatory in Griffith Park, made famous of course as the setting for the knife fight scene in Rebel without a Cause, with James Dean.
This massive park with its rugged hills is surrounded by the sprawl that is L.A.
The Observatory its self has just been restored and it is such a handsome building.
