We had a midweek outing to Manila's newest and coolest bar, Bank Bar, in the Fort Bonifacio district. It's a great little speakeasy hidden away in the foyer of the RCBC Corporate Centre on 25th Street in Bonifacio, Taguig. Entry is via a very discreet door right inside the 7/11 store in the foyer, and in true speakeasy style you have to give your hosts codeword to the security. Once inside it has a luxe/industrial vault feel. Amazing cocktails and a fabulous list of bar snacks. The truffle infused fries with parmesan are a must have and need to be tasted to be believed. Our friends and hosts for the evening Tinkie & Bodge took us through just about most of the menu and let us sample much of the bar. It's a rare little bit of New York vibed cool hidden away in the madness of Manila.
