National Gallery of Victoria's Australian site at Federation Square (Ian Potter Centre) is home to an exciting and vibrant collection of indigenous art. The rhythms and patterns are captivating and mesmerising. We often pass the ground floor gallery that houses this collection on our way to other installations and events and had forgotten how worthwhile it is for a slow and leisurely visit.
