Ampere.

That glorious gadfly of Gin Palace fame has done it again.
The cocktail and cavorting king of Melbourne, Lord Vernon Chalker, has given us thirsty mortals another reason to drink and be merry.
As if the first Tuesday in November is not a busy enough day in old Melbourne town at 5pm we were invited into the electrical storm that is Bar Ampere.

A wonderful space full to the brim with volatile liquids, enter with extreme caution and excitement.
While the Castle escaped at a reasonable hour and relatively unscathed, stories abound of other poor souls trapped in this substation of a soak hole, until 7am the next day.
So it was another fine party.
