Studio Viewing for Gangsters.

To celebrate the finishing of a series of commissioned painting, Mr Brown turned on a Sunday afternoon soiree at the Vale Street Studios in St Kilda, where he creates all of his masterful works.  As the six works had been commissioned by a client in Manila, Phillipines and the were imminently to be shipped off, it seemed like a fine excuse for a gathering of friends and fans of his work to take a viewing of the completed pieces.  The monochrome "Gangster Series", would otherwise disappear into a private collection with no public showing.  It was also a great chance for a peek inside the studio at the many other works both finished and in progress.

To round out the afternoon everyone was invited along to our favourite St Kilda watering hole, The Dogs Bar for several more refreshments and a little bit of jazz.

Mr Brown's Day.

A day out on the town was in order to celebrate Mr Brown's birthday last week.  Rugged up in our winter warmers we headed to the NGV to take a tour of the wonderful "Degas- A New Vision" exhibition.  An enchanting show of the brilliance of Edgar Degas.  Then it was a wander through the painted laneways of Melbourne for some photo ops, followed by a delicious birthday luncheon at our new favourite city restaurant, EntrecĂ´te CBD

Happy Birthday Mr B.
