ANZAC @ 100

Melbourne's Federation Square was ablaze with thousands of hand crafted Poppies, an initiative called "5000 Poppies", that had taken on a life of its own life and carpeted a huge swathe of the forecourt.

Skoczek X Gorman

When Art and Fashion collide.  Uber groovy artist and funtime studio pal, Miranda Skoczek, has been tasked with creating unique new textile designs for the wonderful Gorman label.  We popped along to the season launch in the Gorman Swanston Street store, which was a whirlwind of Chanpagne and shopping.

Fashionable Skoczek.

Dining @ Tokyo Tina.

Tokyo Tina is new Japanesesque diner on Chapel St in Windsor, sister venue to Hanoi Hannah which is just up the road.  On a Thursday evening it was full to the gills with a young crowd warming up their weekend a day early.
After snacking on some groovy Gyoza and fantastic tempura Jalapino peppers stuffed with smoked chicken we both opted for a ramen, which looked inviting, but alas was way,way too salty.

Tokyo Tina, is lots of fun at
but the ramen cannot recommended.
