Last Sunday we tripped off to the
McClelland Gallery & Sculpture Park for the opening of their annual sculpture survey. Sent amongst the scrub and gum trees of far off Langwarrin, was a fantastical array of creations of all means and methods. The announcement of the $100,000 prize for the 2012 winner drew a large and assorted crowd from Melbourne's artirati, with the loot finally being awarded to Greg Johns for his implosion inspired
"There is nothing".
You will be able to see all of the entrants on display in this wonderful setting until July 14th 2013. Take the time to meander the sculpture trail, but watch out for the snakes.
