Autoluminescent-Rowland S Howard.

Having just viewed Autoluminescent, a wonderful insight into the life and times of
the music, the bands and the people that came from a St.kilda of long ago.
The Castle recommends a look.

We miss seeing and hearing Rowland around the village of St.Kilda.

Philip Treacy @ Christine.

With the Spring Racing Carnival apon us and the four days of Flemington madness about to commence, what better way to celebrate Derby Day Eve, than a chic cocktail party at our favourite fashionable salon
And just to make it extra special and race worthy, we were treated to the magic creations of megastar milliner Philip Treacy.
With lashing of Moet and Mumm and dainty little metallic dusted macaroons to nibble on, we chatted whilst waiting for the rain to clear then it was single file through the store room and out of the back door for the most awesome parade of theatre, drama and style.

Our brilliant hosts Christine and Peter Barro.

The gritty alleyway setting in light drizzle and the seven flights of fire escape stairs
created a magical setting and proved a challenge for the models as they descended in sky high heel and head to toe couture and to their credit not a step was out of place.

The vertical catwalk.

Post parade we were all invited to a nearby apartment to continue the festivities and merriment.
Entertainment was provided by the handsome and talented Benjamin Skepper, who entranced us with his cellist skills.  He appeared to win a new fan in the delightfully diminutive Miss Dita Von Teese, who listened intently and chatted longly with him after the performance.

Mr.Brown & Philip Treacy.

Hats off to the marvellous Christine & Philip.
