Tram style.

Most days on the tram came be quite drab.  But every so often you catch a bit of colour and style.

Tarlo & Graham.

At the Windsor end of Chapel Street (the good end) you can indulge your desires for all things curio and nic-nak in the house of Tarlo & Graham.
Many a dead creature lives on thanks to their taste for taxidermy.  Its a bit industrial, its a bit religious, its a bit of all sorts actually, displayed in a deftly delightful manner.

Melbourne maxxed #10.

Art on the Street.

Nic-naks from the Castle 6.

It is a sensible trick to ensure that your travelling partner has a large, near empty hardsided case when venturing abroad.  How on earth would you get these frail Italian busts home.
In a convincing tone you just have to dissuade said companion from any further unnecessary purchases.
Oh. And also let them run the customs gauntlet.

Miss Jackson.

Popped into Miss Jackson for lunch during the week.
A favourite haunt hidden away in St. Kilda on Jackson Street.
Well not so hidden as it was packed.

This is the chicken piadina and it is to die for.
And if you see the minestrone on when you visit, its a must have.

Plain Jane.

25 or so years ago when Mr Brown was just known as Gavin, he decided that playing dress ups was better if he just made the dress ups himself.
It was the 80's and do it yourself fashion was just what you did.
So Plain Jane was born and she was anything but plain.
Just design your own patterns and print them yourself, then you get what you dream of.
Have a fashion parade. Why not.  Photo shoot.  Why not.
There where no end of friends or family willing to get involved and model.
